As in the recent past the amateur radio station N1EPJ
in the PJ building will be activated during Steam-Up.
We have an announcement online at the ARRLwebsite and in the October edition of QST magazine, the ARRL journal. http://www.arrl.org/special-event-stations
All amateur radio hams are invited to be guestoperators of the station. It would be great if NEWSMvolunteers who are also hams would spendsome time making contacts. We will be runningCW and SSB on the Icom 706. I recommend thatyou bring your own pair of headphones. It can be verynoisy during Steam-Up.
Please bring a copy of your General or higherlicense (FFC printout OK) or an ID so we can confirm your call if we do not already know you.We will supply a log book and a hint sheet witha suggested CQ script. Hams who make contact with uswill be provided with a QSL card if they send us onealong with a SASE.
Thank you!
