As in the recent past the amateur radio station N1EPJ<br>in the PJ building will be activated during Steam-Up.<div><br></div><div style="direction: ltr;">We have an announcement online at the ARRL</div><div>website and in the October edition of QST magazine,</div><div>the ARRL journal. <a href="http://www.arrl.org/special-event-stations" target="_blank">http://www.arrl.org/special-event-stations</a> <div id="temp-enhancr-placeholder" class="enhancr-placeholder-medium" data-size="medium"></div></div><div><br></div><div>All amateur radio hams are invited to be guest</div><div>operators of the station. It would be great if NEWSM</div><div>volunteers who are also hams would spend</div><div>some time making contacts. We will be running</div><div>CW and SSB on the Icom 706. I recommend that</div><div>you bring your own pair of headphones. It can be very</div><div>noisy during Steam-Up.</div><div><br></div><div>Please bring a copy of your General or higher</div><div>license (FFC printout OK) or an ID so we can </div><div>confirm your call if we do not already know you.</div><div>We will supply a log book and a hint sheet with</div><div>a suggested CQ script. Hams who make contact with us</div><div>will be provided with a QSL card if they send us one</div><div>along with a SASE.</div><div><br></div><div>Thank you!</div><div><br></div><div><h1 id="title1" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; margin: 0px; padding: 0px 10px; border-width: 0px 0px 4px; border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-color: rgb(255, 246, 0); outline: 0px; font-size: 20.002403259277344px; vertical-align: baseline; background-image: url("http://www.arrl.org/img/spriteme1.png"); line-height: 36px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; background-position: -10px -439px; background-repeat: no-repeat no-repeat;">Search for Special Events Stations</h1><div id="content" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; margin: 0px; padding: 0px 0px 36px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 12.001201629638672px; vertical-align: baseline; float: right; width: 540px; overflow: visible; color: rgb(34, 68, 102); font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><div class="list2" style="margin: 10px 0px 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; vertical-align: baseline;"><ul style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; list-style: none;"><li style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px 15px 0px 0px; border-width: 0px 0px 1px; border-bottom-style: solid; border-bottom-color: rgb(223, 226, 229); outline: 0px; font-size: 12.001201629638672px; vertical-align: baseline; width: 520px; overflow: hidden; position: relative; min-height: 100px; list-style: none;"><h3 style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 16px; vertical-align: baseline; color: rgb(8, 127, 178);"><span style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">10/03/2021 | </span>2021 Yankee Steam-Up</h3><p style="margin: 0px 0px 1em; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; line-height: 1.5; float: left; width: 360px;"><b style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 14px; vertical-align: baseline;">Oct 3, 1300Z-2000Z, N1EPJ</b>, East Greenwich, RI.
