Hi Everyone,

Steam up is now just under 2 weeks away and we have a fair amount of prep
left to do. Thankfully with some folks being there Saturdays now I think
we have plenty of time. Almost everything we have to do is about cleaning
and appearance all around the museum. I thought I'd give a basic
punchlist to help with organization in these next couple of weeks.

*Driveway/ Grounds*

trim back any branches that may scrape vehicles along the driveway
rake branches and leaves along the driveway
remove any existing fallen branches
clean/prune around fire pump, roller, and outdoor engines near boiler
rake under any stairs
prune back branches intruding on meeting hall steps
Set up steam and air tables next Thursday

*Mayes Building*

paint ledge/moulding by kitchen
paint a second coat on moulding along windows, both sides and door trim
install and paint base moulding in entry hall
replace door knob to basement

*Steam Building*

wipe/ clean up as much oil as possible on engines and bases
remove dirty oil pans and replace with new ones
remove any clutter/ unnecessary items
cut/ remove brackets protruding from wall formerly holding electrical
switchboard
vacuum ledges
check safety ropes as fencing has recently been changed, replace as required

*Wireless Building*

Vacuum carpet
remove recent donations from walkway
fix extension cord to spark gap transmitter
dust, remove cobwebs

*PJ*

remove construction materials / tools
remove or repair broken bookcase if time allows
put away unnecessary clutter
clean / dust
remove cobwebs and books from stairwell

*Meeting Hall*

remove wreaths from windows
prime bare wood spots on South exterior

*shop*

clean / put things away. save this for last as there are still ongoing
projects

There is a decent amount to do, but I'm sure if everyone picks a task to
attack we can get it all done

Thank you,
