Subject: [Thursday] IM-4130 Heathkit Frequency Counter : The Box

Today we were cleaning out the magazine / book room on the second
floor of PJ. We separated out all full year sets of QST's up to 1969
and put those mostly bound or wrapped sets to save as historical
examples. We removed all the rest, well nearly so, of the old duplicate
QST's which we may offer to local hams for free while encouraging them
to make donations.

While sorting the magazines (hundreds of them) we came across an
original Heathkit shipping box. It was for the IM-130 Frequency Counter
kit. It was made in 1977. Original boxes are difficult to find! I may even
have one of these counters at home. I don't recall the model no.
of mine.
