[Thursday] IM-4130 Heathkit Frequency Counter : The Box

Today we were cleaning out the magazine / book room on the secondfloor of PJ. We separated out all full year sets of QST's up to 1969and put those mostly bound or wrapped sets to save as historicalexamples. We removed all the rest, well nearly so, of the old duplicateQST's which we may offer to local hams for free while encouraging themto make donations.
While sorting the magazines (hundreds of them) we came across anoriginal Heathkit shipping box. It was for the IM-130 Frequency Counterkit. It was made in 1977. Original boxes are difficult to find! I may evenhave one of these counters at home. I don't recall the model no.of mine. Link to generic photo
PS I still have the box that my Heathkit S-120 receiver came in.Watch me in action with that radio back in 1961 or 1962.
