Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends. I know I
was thinking the other day how thankful and fortunate I am, and the museum
is, to have all of your help there. Thank you!
As we get close to the end of the year some of our most significant
fundraising efforts come back to back. This Tuesday has come to be known
as Giving Tuesday for non-profits. The message below will be going out to
everyone on the museum's email list on Tuesday morning. I wanted to send
it out to all of you a few days early in the event that you have friends or
family who might be willing to contribute to the campaign. Please feel
free to delete this portion and forward to as many people as you can. All
of our efforts add up in the end.
Also, Tuesday morning presents a unique opportunity in a very narrow
window. Facebook is matching donations 1:1 for the first $2 million
starting at 8am on Tuesday morning. The 1:1 matching funds limit will
undoubtedly be met within a matter of 2 or 3 minutes after which time they
match 1:10 for another $6 million. If anyone is so inclined, I have set up
a fundraiser on Facebook to take advantage of these matching funds. The
link is Here <https://www.facebook.com/donate/413121253857058/> and can
also be shared. I will make my annual Merriam Society donation during this
time. If anyone without access to Facebook would like to contribute to
this matching funds campaign please let me know ahead of time.
Thank you!

Dear Friends,
The New England Wireless and Steam Museum has had a great year of progress
and a strong comeback from the unfortunate difficulties of Covid-19. While
our newsletter is forthcoming, I wanted to share with you a list of
projects on the horizon at the museum in the coming years. The plans are
ambitious but our volunteers have shown they are up to the tasks. Your
generous support this Giving Tuesday will help make it all possible.
Thank you in advance for your support.
