Yesterday I saw an original copy of the Massie and Underhillbook, Wireless Telegraphy and Telephony Popularly Explained , in one of thedisplay cases in the Wireless Building. I’ve been looking for an original copy. They are difficult to find and expensive when you do find one. Luckily there isanother way to read this great book.
Why would anyone want to read this book? It is a simple andclear explanation of radio theory with plenty of understandable examples of howand why radio works. This book is an awesome window on the true Wireless Age of1908. It has plenty of illustrations and relatively simple text.
A little online research proved successful. It is possibleto read the entire book, online or offline, with a Google App. Go herefor the link to the book .
