We know nothing of the provenance of this transmitter, but based on the design and components it looks like it was made in the 1930s. We are guessing that the tube socket on the left is for the oscillator, the two in the middle are for a push-pull RF amplifier, and the one at the right is a rectifier for the plate power supply.
