[Thursday] B.B. & R. Knight Mills

I lived in the Centreville/Centerville mill for a few years in the late 1970’s, by which time it was a hippy candlestick factory. 

The remains of a water turbine were out back with a good sized mill pond, but no sign that it had ever been steam powered…..

There had been a fire in the 1930s and the gable roof and upper stories had collapsed, but the lower two floors and tower were repaired and are still intact - not sure what it is being used for now - it had a long history of failed enterprises…..
