 Len,
I saw this set when it came up last week and I haven't seen this set before either.  The seller calls this a "3 Dial" radio, but it is really a single dial TRF set with one tuning knob controlling a 3 gang tuning condenser and a single dial window (on left).  I would date it as late 1920's due to the single dial, but I don't know for sure.

I won't be bidding on this, so good luck Len. I hope you get it, if you want it.

 Found a Polle Royal radio, made in Providence by Royal Radio. I have not seen this particular model nor is it found in any advertising I have seen. The escutcheon on the left is the same as one on one of their AC sets I have. It’s in rough shape but fixable. Comes with the blue prints to. Usually only seen with self built sets but I don’t think this was a kit. Looks factory. It’s a battery set, 3 dialer, TRF.
