[Thursday] Date change for the Field Trip to the Shoreline Trolley Museum in East Haven, CT

 All,Due to a doctor appointment that I can not miss I have had to move the field trip to the Shore Line Trolley Museum ahead 1 week to Wednesday October 13th.Hopefully that will still work for those of you that already signed up.  If not just let me know.
If the previous date/s didn't work for you and the new one does (Wed Oct 13th) work for you just let me know as we still have room for more of you to go.Original info is below.

As some of you are aware I/we are planning a Museum volunteer field trip to the Shoreline Trolley Museum in East Haven, CT.  www.shorelinetrolley.org

Both Dennis Ingalls and I are 2021 qualified trolley operators at Shoreline and will be operating the trolleys.

Depending on how many of us go it can be really cheap or maybe not quite so cheap.  Really cheap is 10 bucks or less.

Each trolley will hold about 30 passengers.  So we should have space for "significant others" and or a friend or 2 depending on the number of volunteers signing up.

I have requested 2 trolley cars for 2 three mile round trips each car.   If the number of signups is less than 20 it will most likely be 2 different trolleys 1 trip each.  (total 2 trips)  However we don't need 60 signups to have 2 cars out at the same time.

Dennis and I will also give a guided tour/s of the museums other trolleys and equipment of which there are around 100.

We will be scheduling this for 10:30 arrival in East Haven with a trolley departure time of 11:00  That gives us 2 to 3 hours with the trolleys.

I think the easiest is for us to car pool in small groups to Shorelline trolley.  Why would Ken A, Ken K and Craig M want to go east to go west for 3 examples.

Google says it is 111 miles 1 hr 57 min from our Museum in East Greenwich to Shoreline Trolley at 17 River St in East Haven, CT.

Let me know and save the date/s which tentatively are Wed Oct 6th or Monday Oct 11th.  I guess it will be a majority rules type of thing on which date we choose.  This is a rain or shine event as all the trolleys are "closed cars".

It would be great if we can finalize this in the next couple of weeks.  

As of right now CT Covid rules still require masks on public transportation so plan ahead for a mask.
