I think that local Rhode Island history is underappreciated. Len has done a lot of work on this subject, and I think that visitors would find it interesting to learn about all of the local radio manufacturers and notable people in the industry.

Hi Everyone,
In the last few years, pre-covid, we had some presentations in the Meeting Hall during Steam Up. Some might recall the Brown & Sharpe presentation, Len's on Chopmist Hill, one about hydropower to steam power, and one about the first steamboat in America. Some of these folks were authors and others were just enthusiasts. I'm wondering if any of you have ideas on who we might have do presentations this year. Obviously if any of you have topics you'd like to present yourselves that would be great. Otherwise, perhaps your ideas of friends and community members we might be able to interest in participating. I haven't had time to give it much thought myself and would appreciate any ideas you guys might have.
Thanks,
