That is great Ken.  I wonder about old radio's in these cars. After all Motorola got its name from Motoring and Victrola...  speaking of which, there were also in-dash phonographs as well. I am surprised that cars dont still have those since it must have worked really well...

There are newspaper accounts of Chevrolet offering the “Radio Sedan” in 1922, apparently including a Westinghouse radio that utilized a rooftop antenna, batteries beneath the front seats, and large horn speakers behind the rear seats, but it’s unclear whether it was actually produced ...

The first car radios were actually bulky home units that were disassembled and stuffed into vehicles wherever they might fit. These days, car radios are well-integrated and incredibly more high-functioning than their predecessors, and most drivers wouldn’t consider owning a car without one.. The same can’t be said of in-car record players.
