Promote your organization at STEAM Central at the Westerly Education
Center! The Rhode Island STEAM Center and Rhode Island College will be
sponsoring STEAM Central 2019, the 3rd annual event in a series of half-day
programs that brings STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts +
design, mathematics) activities, information, and awareness to families in
the Westerly/South County/Southeastern Connecticut area. Hosted by the
Westerly Education Center (23 Friendship St., Westerly, RI 02891

each half-day event is centered on a specific theme. This year’s STEAM
Central – on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 11:00-3:00 - will focus on
Energy. The target audience is families and community members. The event
will have different “stations” or thematic areas: Activity Station includes
activities that will engage families. After school and community-based
organizations, non-profits, and other groups throughout Rhode Island are
invited to staff a table(s) with information and activities related to
energy. Demo Station highlights real-world technology related to energy.
Info Station will provide information and resources. Career Station will
identify fields of study and related careers. Community/Global Station
features information that is relevant to Rhode Islanders. It will be great
to have your participation! Please complete this registration form if you
