*Student Interns Introduced to New Ha**as Machine*
Chris Gray (right) has been busy training our summer interns, including
Wyatt Bean (above) to operate the new Haas Vertical Milling Machine,
donated to APM by Haas Automation, Inc. and installed by HFO/Trident, with
additional components donated by the Midaco Corporation, Evolution Aero,
and Abbott Workholding Products.
Our interns will operate and explain a variety of machines for APM visitors
each day this summer and on fall weekends. These include a hand-operated
1913 turret lathe, circa 1940 Bridgeport post & knee milling machine with a
Heidenhain retrofit, and a modern Fanuc Robotic Arm donated by Gosiger.
They've perfected the 1942 Fellows Gear Shaper, which produces the handsome
key chains sold in our gift shop. (below)
*We are grateful to the corporations listed above for their extraordinary
generosity in support of the American Precision Museum and its mission*.
