[David Crowell]

 I've been reading a book titled: Rhode Island Disasters, Tales of Tragedy By Air, Sea and Rail.
Written by Jim Ignasher, it is an interesting collection of short stories about tragedies from 1872 until 1982. The U-853 sinking is not included.
Jim also wrote a book titled Forgotten Tales of Rhode Island which I will buy in  the future.
