thanks len, I ordered this on a used DVD.

when I went looking for this and stumbled on The Empire of Noise, an unusual documentary about Soviet Bloc radio jamming. I had no idea how extensive it was (thousands of stations, both receive and transmit), encoded jamming instructions from Moscow, the different modulation techniques, and the testimony that many young engineers quit the program in disgust at the mission.  Interesting video!

Watched the Ken Burn’s film “Empire of the Air” for about the 10th time tonight.

It really is a great documentary about DeForest, Armstrong and Sarnof.

If you have never watched it, I recommend it.
