[Thursday] Open house?

There were 16 adults and one child, so the net result was $165.00.  No one
bought any shirts or hats.  Our competition was the Washington County Fair
and the Mystic Seaport Engine Show.  Plus, it was a nice beach day.  Ten of
the adults were first time visitors and said they plan to be at Steam Up.
One man said that he had attended all of the Saturdays and liked them
better than the SteamUp ; no crowds and more opportunity to ask questions
of the staff..  It seems to be worth doing.
