In 1919 the Navy flew a Curtis amphibious airplane, NC-4 across the Atlantic. This was a first. The coils for the Radio Equipment were made in Providence by Thomas P Giblin.
I came across this ebay item, the prop from the generator for the radio equipment. We have one of these generators without the prop in the wireless building.
Not suggesting we buy it, just thought it was interesting. Anyone remember a small prop anywhere?
