great news about the air compressor.
How about a shelter at the southwest side of the shop with an underground air line over to the boiler where the compressor was connected previously......Like the one we have for the steam tables.

Subject: [Thursday] Air compressor
I'm happy to announce that the museum has acquired an air compressor, as
planned, capable of powering any of the engines for demonstration. We have
a little work to do, deciding on an appropriate place for it and getting it
connected to the steam piping. I don't imagine that will take long, and
it's already been given some thought.
For the sake of interest, it's a Kaeser M50 that puts out 185cfm, and is in
great shape. I think it'll be a great asset for us for decades to come!
