This 6-tube AM & SW superheterodyne console receiver was made by the RCA Victor Company and sold for $49 in 1936. The tuning range is 540 KHz to 1.8 MHz for the AM Broadcast band, and 2.0 MHz to 6.0 MHz for the Short Wave band. It is AC powered so no need for batteries. It has a 12″ Electro Dynamic speaker in the base. This one has been restored and is fully functional. It has been modified with the addition of a Bluetooth adapter so it can play recorded music.
