Underhill descendants visit the museum

On July 6 we had a visit from descendants of Mr. Charles R. Underhill, author, engineer and mentor to Edwin H. Armstrong, the inventor of regenerative and superheterodyne radio circuits and FM radio.

Mr. Charles R. Underhill’s descendants were especially interested in a display of Mr. Underhill’s books and other memorabilia that we have in the Wireless Building.

Mr. Underhill’s granddaughter, Alison Underhill Haber, and great-granddaughter, Cindy Davis, went through the exhibits with Nancy and Bob Merriam, who had received the materials on display from Ms. Haber’s father, Mr. Underhill’s son, Charles Underhill, Jr. We captured a photo of our visitors with the exhibit and its photos of the Underhills.
