If you know the answer to that question, you likely have exceptional<div>mechanical engineering abilities and I have a challenge for you.</div><div><br></div><div>In the basement of the Massie building I discovered what </div><div>appears to be 1930 Capeheart Amperion Record changer. This</div><div>changer loaded up with a stack of records and automatically </div><div>played one side of them all. As each record completed its play,</div><div>the changer flipped it and placed the record on top of the adjacent</div><div>stack. It then slid the next record out from the bottom of the stack</div><div>(this is where the chain dog comes into play) and placed it on </div><div>the turntable, now playing the opposite side of the one first</div><div>played.</div><div><br></div><div>Imagine this changer in operating mode and free of any cabinet.</div><div>Visitors would love to see this marvel of engineering at work.</div><div>If you need a challenge, here it is.
