This is a commendable restoration.<div>The process involves documenting every connection</div><div>and then removing all wiring and components as a</div><div>complete harness. All tube socket rivets are drilled out. Then the chassis is stripped by various methods.</div><div>If it was an E. H. Scott (like the one we have in Massie) it would</div><div>then go to the chrome plater. Two chassis for a Scott (power</div><div>supply and tuner). Also all transformer covers, etc. also get </div><div>plated. After paying the plater at least $1,000 you reassemble.</div><div><br></div><div>This one would most likely just be spray painted.</div><div>All grommets and other rubber mounts are replaced.
